An Advertising Photography Project by Elect Studio
Welcome to my documentary series, where I shed light on the photography projects. In this installment, we delve into a collaboration between Elect Studio and Nima Javidi and his crow on the TV series “Actor”.
It all started when my friends at Elect Studio approached me with an exciting opportunity. They had been commissioned to undertake a photography project for the TV series “Actor” and were keen to document the entire process. I eagerly took on the challenge, knowing that it would be an adventure worth capturing.
Over the course of three days, we found ourselves at an old-style house located in the northern part of Tehran. The house exuded an aura reminiscent of a theater stage, as if it had been waiting for our arrival and we sought to bring those scenes to life through our lenses.
The heart of any photography project lie in the hands of the talented photographers behind the scenes. In this case, Saeed and Hooman, skillfully crafted each shot, transforming the actors into mesmerizing characters with their exceptional vision. The meticulous attention to detail, combined with their expertise in lighting, resulted in photographs that truly encapsulated the essence of the TV series.
The selected images were printed and transformed into an attention-grabbing billboard, strategically placed to pique the curiosity of passersby. This approach not only served as a promotional tool for the TV series but also showcased the vision behind Elect Studio’s photography project.
